Is there a good place to pick up 12v constant live at the back of an S3, in the boot area and around the glovebox ?
Don't need much current, about 50mA max.

thanks

I'm not sure about the glove box and boot, but maybe run some wires from the fuze box?

At te front of the car you can run anything you want from the relays under the steering wheel.

Remove the lower dash trim and you'll see them just above the pedals. The yellow one on the left will run off ignition, so will only have power when the ignition is on. The red one to the right of the yellow one (thickest cable) should be the main in car permanent feed from the battery.

I'm trying to keep it simple, don't fancy taking the seats and carpet out etc.

If no one knows, I'll just see whats available in the connector above the plastic bass box.

For the front, underneath the steering wheel sounds ok - Thanks Westy

You don't need to get too involved. I ran cable under my carpet by poking it under with a wire coat hanger. Didn't need to remove front seats, only rear seats which clip in and ou in seconds.
