Removal of pre 2008 bumper grilles (centre).....?

Hi all, I have a 2005 a3 with the 2 piece centre grille as opposed to the latter one piece.

does anyone have a guide or any tips of how to remove them?

For reference to anyone who may whant to know in future, you need to remove the front bumper.
