Bought my S3 last week and am super happy with it! came with lots of receipts including a recent clutch, but yesterday the clutch smelt really bad and i think the bite point is almost all the way to the top, if my clutch is going is it worth going Vr6 clutch and G60 flywheel? or just standard? also how much approx is fitting costs for the clutch? thanks matt

i dont think for an S3 you can iirc try awesomegti clutch and comes with a SMF.. not cheap but not expensive for what you get shouldnt be more then 400 pounds for labour

Depends on if you plan to uprate power.

If you want 300lb torque and 300bhp you will certainly need uprated clutch.

I'm running a 6 paddle sach racing clutch and dual mass flywheel (do both when you do- not safe or recommended to do seperate due to awkwardness and cost of labour/ damage) from c.g.motorsport. Linda sorted me out. Cost about £460 all in for both parts...ask for discount and mention asn etc...and recommended. Then its only labour.

Clutch engages with more urgency but its awesome.
