boost gauge fitting

Hi i was just wondering which is the best pipe to use to connect the boost gauge feed pipe too? I a bit unsure if it be better nearer the engine or along any part of the boost pipe

AFAIK, It needs to come off the intake manifold. Some people T off the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) vacuum line, others T off the diverter valve (DV) vacuum line. The best way would be to fit a new fitting into the manifold but that's more involved.
There is a lot of boost gauge how to's on here.
