2007 Audi A4 3.0 TDI Quattro S Line. Timing Belt or Chain?

Hello, could somebody please tell me if the above vehicle uses a Chain or Belt. If belt when does it need to be replaced.

Chain, located at the rear of the engine, known to rattle on start up.
Expensive to fix...
