still getting fault code 17704 error in map cooling

in the last month ive replaced both temp sensors, my car was burning oil so ive had the oil breather oil filter engine flush all done because the engine management light came on, when i checked the oil there was none

just drove for about 20 mile trip and on the way home my engine management light came on again, checked the oil and its still ok.

but my temp gauge never moved the whole trip it just sat at 50. so what you rekon the thermostat? water pump? would this bring the engine management light on ?

oh and it is smoking a little bit at the rear (white smoke)
