Hi all,

If anyone needs their discs and pads doing soon, take it to a dealership!

The garage (non dealer) who normally does the work on my 8P S3 quoted me £700 using genuine Audi parts. The price dropped to around £530 using Pagid.

If you look on Audi's website they offer fixed prices for certain items, brakes are one of these offers. The S3 shouldn't be included in this offer as the front discs etc are bigger, however, every time i rang any of the dealers they were only interested in the engine size saying "if its 2.0 then its £259 front and back!"

Anyway, I've had them done at Audi for £518. Only trouble was i got twatted with having to have a new rear calliper which had seized meaning it wouldn't unwind (probably why my brakes always squeaked....) so the total was a lot BUT i had my pads/discs done cheaper with Audi than anywhere else.

Just hope they didn't fit standard A3 brakes.... :)

Get R32 front discs as there cheaper even though the same from places like tps
