How hard would it be to wire in another 12v outlet in the boot or in the back for passengers?
I've got a saloon and could do with an extra port!

It would depend on yourself!
I would find it dead easy to do!
but if you don't know the difference between a spanner and a screwdriver you would struggle!!
what sort of port you putting in? a cig lighter? if so it would be really easy not sure where you would put it though!
find a place drill a hole big enough to except the port then wire it up not forgetting to put an inline fuse in for protection

just take the 12v feed from you original fag lighter to were you new one will be going Very VERY easy to do
I've got a double 12V and USB charger wired off the fag lighter fuse (fused separately) in my cubby hole and a single one piggy-backed off the tow-bar electrics in the boot.
If you don't know, then any decent auto-sparky will wire one up for you for £20 tops, especially if you take the glove-box out
Highly recommended so you can charge phones, sat-navs and laptops out of sight!
