Hi, I have bog standard 16" alloys on my 2.4 cab, looking at 4 new tyres to be fitted quick and simple. Spoken to ATS and they are suggesting Dunlop Sport 01 tyres, per pair fitted £241 all in (so £482 for a new full set of boots).

215/55/ZR16 fitted at the moment.

Anyone got any comments either way on the brand or cost before I say yes or no ?

Thanks in advance.

camskill for one example have them for 101 motes plus 3 postage. plus fitting

but they also have vredsteins and falkens for around 72 notes!

i'd certainly rate them equal or better than dunlops.

black circles have the falken 914 for 89 fitted.

Pirelli P Zero's and negotiate with your local Merityre :)

Find them online and they will usually match that price.

Dunlop Sport Fast Response seems to get a good review - that's what I run. Good grip, low road noise, and excellent in wet or snow. Oh and good for 20k miles minimum!

Thanks chaps, I'm going off the idea of Sport 01s given the reviews.

After a bit of research and talking to the fitter I'm having 4 x Michelin Primacy 3s fitted tomorrow.

I've got Sport 01's fitted to my 1.8T Quattro saloon and I can't rate them highly enough. They were brilliant in the snow and contrary to the reviews online I think they provide ample grip and I don't hang about when driving...

Nice one thanks. Hopefully get them fitted tomorrow , will report back.
