This happened yesterday, and is the closest call I've had since installing the Blackvue.

I suspect you held your speed instead of braking so you could get close to the other car and emphasise what a knob he/she is and then beeeeeeeeeep them.
To be fair, that's what I sometimes do when someone's driving p*sses me off. So if it is the case of that then I don't really blame you.
Was the right turn off the roundabout through the speedhumps a 20 limit ?
We should have a stop sign on every entry to a roundabout.
poor driving of you're part........ good job you had Blackvue to recorded you're efforts
How was it poor driving, Robbie? I had full control of the situation, had anticipated it well in advance, and judged my speed to ensure there was never any danger of impact.
Hey, it's only my take on it....... stay lucky
I have to agree with the other responses, this was a situation that could easily have been avoided.
The best road driving advice I was ever given was "drive to anticipate and avoid the accident", it has served me well. There have been many times when I have been technically 'in the right' but it was better for all to take action to avoid any incident.
It has been well researched that 90% of people think they are above average drivers and therefore have way too much confidence in their abilities behind the wheel. No matter how good you are you never know what the other driver might be about to do. Although I've done a fair bit of driver training I I've found driving as if I'm about average and anticipating what just might happen has served me well so far.
Just one word of caution on cameras too, on track days you can be certain somebody will have an off playing to the photographer who's stood on one of the corners, trying to do something impressive to show their friends. There is a danger that with the camera on board you might go looking for the sensational and this changes your driving style.
I've made plenty of my own mistakes though I still think this is the best one! If you're going to have a near miss this is the best place for it (forward to 2m if you just want the near miss!), this still makes me sweat and expect a loud bang at the end:

Drive safely out there, you never know what the other nutters are going to do!
I had to look again, IMO you are the bad driver there. Very little braking aproaching that roundabout, although the other car probably didnt see you till last minute due to surroundings, he seemed to be going a lot slower into the roundabout, maybe a fraction before you entered it. He also had no indicators? I would have sat back and avoided any possible indecent. You was probably going too fast for him to notice you.
Your blasting of the horn and aiming right at him shows bad attitude on the road, use the horn to warn others of your presence, not to vent anger.
What happened in this video?
Did you lock up/out brake yourself, or did you forget the track layout?
I wish I could have listened to the engine rather than a song
But what this whole thread had done, is act as a reminder that the camera doesn't just capture what other drivers do - it also captures what I do. So all in all, it's a good thing
