Bumper trim thieved

Last night somebody nicked the chrome trim that sits on top of the rear bumper, which the boot lid closes down onto (not the boot lid spoiler). They just jimmied it off I suppose and slid it out from the closed boot lid. Luckily didn't really do any damage or break in.

I'm not even mad I'm just like....really?!

Does anybody know this part number please?

Might of stole it with intent to get in your boot, never knew it came off without the boot open, check the clips are all still intact. Far as I know part number is: 8E9807443

8E9 is an Avant part number, so make sure that's correct as saloon/Avant trims are different.

Thanks guys -mine is a S-line saloon.

The trim is gone, it's been taken. If it were laying discarded on the floor then I would agree at an attempt to get into the boot. Feeling strangely lucky this morning really, considering what could have been.

there really are some vermin lurking about on our streets my mate had the lower grilles nicked from the front bumper of his tt last year, replaced them only for them to disappear again 3 months later
