i take it, the only difference from the se and the quattro is 4 wheel drive?

Not quite. The front-wheel drive model has a torsion-beam solid rear-axle. The Quattro has IRS (double-wishbone, I think).

There may also be some minor equipment differences.

quattro should have sports seats - lots better than standard. Lower suspension.

not sure if front fogs are standard on both the se and the q or just on the Q?

alright, mine has the leather sport seats but not the front fog tho..

Fair enough.

all the quattros I looked at had fogs - although built into the standard light pod not a seperate unit in the bumper - I assumed it must be standard.

mine has the fogs in the headlights, its a 1998 fwd se model

My T Plate Quattro ( 2.5 Tdi ) has seperate fogs in the bumper
