A5 Sportback - multitronic or manual 2.0 tdi?

Hi All,

currently mulling over a couple of 6 mnth old A5 sportbacks 2.0 tdi's BE on autotrader, they have the multitronic gearbox and i have not heard many good things about them and thinking it might be better to find or order from new a manual box?

i would be looking to keep it for a good 4-5 yrs so don't want to be hit with a mega bill after warranty has run out or sorting out any ongoing issues within warranty.

or is the multitronic any good? worth the extra?

any thoughts appreciated!

Get an stronic gearbox then.

Multitronics don't have a good history tbh.

If it's under warranty then the Multitronic is fine, but get shot before it goes out of warranty!
