Brake pad wear sensor wiring

All,

My 2000 A4 has always had the brake pad wear light on, though the pads were good.

I did new disks and pads a while ago, and got the pads with the wiring connectors on.

My car has the bracket to carry the connector, but no sign of any cable or connector car side. I presume they've been cut off. So I still have permanent brake warning light.

Can anyone tell me where the wires go in the wheelarch? Are they part of the same cable as the ABS sensors?

Just soft code it out with vagcom !!Someones probably fitted abs sensors without pad warning !!
 
Cant softcode it out on the later clusters.

You can connect the sensor wire to ground at the back of the clocks to get the light off.
