Climate Unit Compatibility

Hi guys,

I have done some searching for the compatibility of all the different climate units available, and I know i cannot use an 07 onwards climate unit in my 06 A3. My question is, can I use a pre 07 climate unit WITH heated seats function, in my car which does not have heated seats?

Yes, just will show errors logged for not connected, but rest will work fine.
