Hi noisy rattle anoying me. As i have checked through vagcom my door lock needs changing as my alarm keeps going off. But everytime i close open my door i get a rattle from my window. what can that be do i need clips or what isit
The regulator may have been replaced before and been ill fitted, or like on my A3 I used to have, turned out to be the side impact bars that run in between the door, was a simple case of tightening up the bolts each end of the door.
Check the bolts each end of the door first before taking of the door card, the bolts may just need tightening up for the impact bars, it's a quick thing to check. If not, door card off !
