I've got a 3.2 Quattro A3 and for the past few months the ESP light has been coming on and off when it's wet, which in scotland is pretty much all the time. Frequently it comes on after the first time you've pressed the brake pedal more than just a tap, but if you switch off the engine, restart it'll go off and usually stay off the rest of the journey.
Took it to the garage and of course it didn't come on, and there were no fault codes shown when they checked it.
Its getting to be a complete pain in the **** and I want to know what else to get checked.
Can it be linked to the tracking at all? Garage noticed that my tyres are wearing unevenly so it's going in for 4 wheel alignment but other than that everything else seems ok.
