Is it worth putting a HID kit in with facelift xenon headlight as lights aren't very good, carnt see jack, or us it better to put a HID kit with aftermarket Depo headlight, which would be the better light output?

Depends why your xenons are not putting out much light.
On mine the silvering was coming off the internal reflectors and the lenses had yellowed.
I bought an HID kit and what I thought were 2 Depo headlights from 2 different suppliers.
I was sent one Depo and one TYC brand. When fitted you can't tell the difference, but The quality on the TYC unit seemed slightly better.
