Coloured air cone filter

I'm nearly at the stage of getting my noggy S3 (8L) back on its feet after a few major engine jobs have been done( I'll do a thread next week when I get it back)

Meanwhile would this be a straight fit?

Don't think it would mate, the inlet diameter needs to be big enough to fit to the MAF, which is 86mm outer diameter I think, so the inner diameter of the inlet of that cone filter is 10mm too small.

I'd recommend the Honda S2000 OEM air filter mod as a cheap and easy alternative, just search this forum for more details.

Or order a BMC twin cone or Jetex from Bill. He has them on the shelf. You may end up ordering a v2 TIP at the same time if you're not careful though!

It would be a crime not I put a 80mm tip on at the same time as a decent filter.
