Upgrade to Double Din

Hi guys my dash currently looks like this it a 3 18.8 02 plate , the problem being I have a really nice double din DVD/ sat nav system that I had in my old car,

the the questions I am wondering is

1 can the heater controls be moved down to let me gain double din size access or
2 can I upgrade this to the climate control so I can gain access that way

I know there is a digital climate control that will fit where your cubby hole is but the question I don't know is whether it's compatible with your wiring/switches/plugs for the rotary knobs.

On the plus side that looks like an awesome CD Who's on it?! :-D

Ha ha I would be lying if I said it wasn't mine as well lol,

Yeah I've seen the climate control but don't wanna go spending loads if it's not gonna work, might see if someone is selling one or have one laying around, and willing to give it a go
