Just wanting to see if anyone else shares (or has experienced) the same issue I currently have with my S3. I don't lose sleep over it but I guess it's something that will need replaced at some stage.

The odd time (about once every 20 journeys in the car) my traction control light will flash while I'm driving on a normal dry road at normal speeds. It will flash for about 5 seconds and then stop. I think it tends to flash when I go over a small incline in the road. Is the traction control linked to the ABS so it could possibly be a faulty sensor or something?

Anyways any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

If you go over a bump or adverse camber, the TC may cut in,and AFAIK what it does is to apply braking to the wheel that's spinning.

Personally,I don't like it very much,or the way it intereferes with the diff on my own car,but it is basically safe.
