German embossed plates?

Considering getting some of these as I think they look pretty cool.

Can anyone advise a company to get them from that are legal etc?

I got mine from eBay, was dubious as they were cheap but quality is great and they are road legal too

German embossed plates aren't legal, because of the German font. UK embossed plate, like those in A5BlackEd's post, are legal, because they have the UK font. You can also get them from one of our own forum members, Diesel Tuning UK. That's where I got mine, and they're excellent. Click here.

Unfortunately DTUK don't do them anymore

Hmm did you know that the reflective material in/on standard number plates are of a fresnel lens type reflector designed to reflect "best" at the wavelength of the lasers used in home office approved police laser equipment, courtesy of the EU....
