Facelift none heated seats climate control panel?

My girlfriend went to drive to work used the screen clear button which got stuck in.... Now can't actually do anything with the panel can't even switch it off stuck on 18 degrees. Just wondered if anyone had seen or heard of this before? I'll have a proper look when were both home but have a feel I might have to order a replacement seems odd it's never had a problem before.

Just read people in similar age A4s have had a problem with sticky buttons in the cold! Hopefully once it's warmed up and unstuck he other controls might work again seems odd it stops the panel from being switched off :/ I'll update later!
