Sat Nav display A8

hi All,

A8 2006 sat nav display keeps taking over the display from cd tracks etc
Any idea why
Batterys a little suspect, could this be the cause?

When you taking over.
what do you mean?

You normally have your two MPG screens in the middle and the top half is your CD tracks.

When you got guidance on that takes over the middle but the top is still CD.

Hi Scott,
Sorry that didn't make any sence, even if you don't have the Nav on n your listening to a cd the Nav appears
I havnt seen the fault it's a friends car and this is how he's described the problem

Is this happening to the MMI screen in the dash or the DIS screen in the cluster?

I can't picture why or what would be causing this.
Possible dodgy connection in the NAV button?
