Ive been looking at the alpine ice x7
does anyone recommend this hu. or can anyone recommend me one of a similar spec?

Can't go far wrong with the Alpine units to be honest. The Pioneer decks are very good but the user interface is a bit Marmite. Avoid teh Clarion units, have one as standard fit in the mrs Peugeot and it's been very problematic.
