Cannot access navigation radio or instrument channels in vcds

Good Evening All

As above i have fitted rnse in place of a concert in an 07 a4 se/s line added a new b connector as there wasn't one there so that i could swap the c7 k line to b5 etc and traveled up the road earlier after replying to an ebay advert for vcds coding, The guy could not access channel 17 instruments 57 navigation or 37 radio, It starts loading up like coding adaption fault codes basic settings etc lighting up then stating controller not found. Any ideas has i'm heavily starting to lean towards an aftermarkeet sat nav unit for my car at the minute. Thanks Tommy

A quick update for anyone in the same position make sure whoever is trying to acces these controllers have a GENUINE rosstech cable, I just had a genuine cable delivered this morning plugged it in etc downloaded updates clicked on navigation and near enough instantly i could access the settings which wasn't good really as it says my dvd drive is faulty.
