Drivers door wiring loom help needed

Recently bought myself a newer and less mileage a4 had trouble with the wiring harness got a new one got it all fitted went to plug it back in to the pilar bit and the plug fell threw I've been battleing for the last hour to get it to plug in but it's just not happening dose any one no how you could get in behind the plug so I could hold it while I try plug the door harness in

You can remove the kick panel that covers that area (just pulls up from next to the seat, give it a firm tug) and there's a big lump of foam covering a hole, pull that out and you've got easy access to your plug.

Just done this on Friday... Lol
