Can anyone identify this part?

Anyone have any idea what this part is? Was planning on fitting a bluetooth mic up in the centre light console but when i removed it i noticed this, looks like a mic already there.

It's a 2007 A3 2.0TDi 170 S-Line Quattro, with a Symphony 2 radio (non MFSW).


It's the thick white wire below i'm trying to figure out

remove that & you'll have issues with your alarm.. better off fitting it to your pillar.

OEM mic goes through the yellow circle if you're going down that route.
