I am looking for some new alloy wheels for my car car 2011 8p s line. What is the prefect offset so the wheels fit the arches nicely on 18s. I was looking at 8x18 et 35 on the back and 8x18 et 42 on the front? I am looking at getting coilovers in the future will there be rubbing?

my wheels are 8x18 ET 42 and rear rubs. my car is only lowered by a few mm as i'm on eibach pro-kit springs. if you have ET 35 wheels and lower on coilovers it will rub i think.

Cheers for the reply may have to look at et 45 then if im going lower cheers

I have 19x8.5 ET45 with 8mm front and 10mm rear spacers (now ET37 and ET35) and I only get minor rubbing on really big dips/bumps but I'm running BC Racing coilovers with 10k springs. When I had H&R coilovers with progressive springs it scrubbed like crazy. The spacers will be coming off after GTI Inter tho as the ET45 doesn't scrub at all

I'm running 18" 9.5J et 35 on the rear with 215 35 18 tyres and 8.5J et35 on the front no rubbing at all and I'm on fk coilovers adjusters are out on the rear and fronts are wound all the way down

Would 8.5x19 with 235/35/19 et45 tyres fit my a3 quattro? They would fit an s3 right

8x18 et 35 will not fit
Yes it will fit, but the 235 tyres might rub if lowered

If i got 19s i would only lower on springs. I want the daily commute to be tolerable
