Machining of RS3/TTRS calipers

Hey

just tried to fit a RS3/TTRS callipers with 12mm spacer with OEM 18" rotor, i thought it fit but its actually just catching where the raised lettering is on the calliper.

Anybody know if i can get 1/2mm shaved off these areas (top and bottom in the middle) other than this they fit.

Could you not do them your self ? with a file if its just 1/2 mm ? or do you know anyone with a belt file as this will take them down even and they will want the paint touching up any way, if it was the wheel you were taking some off then you would have trouble with balance and weight rotation but on the caliper it will be ok.

im not sure i would wanna do it myself. but decided not to just so the value of the callipers still remains. just have to get a set of 19

from memory i think you need 18" alloys that are concave centres like TD pro race 1.2 to fit with that setup. theres a thread about what alloys fit with that bbk setup
