My steering doesnt feel right. It seems to go tight and heavy sometimes. My tyre pressures are fine and the garage has checked the underside of the car and its all good. I did have a leaky hose the other week on my PAS fluid after i did a flush. This resulted in the reservoir runnig dry and the pump briefly sucking in air. Would air in the system cause my funny steering? Can i bleed it? Or would it come out itself?

Think you answered it yourself. You have to top the fluid up and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock a few times to bleed it.

If there is air in the line the steering will feel heavy as the pump can't compress the air as effectively as it can the fluid.

Jacked it up and went from lock to lock many times. Steering is better its not heavy so often but still goes between light and heavy. Annoying....

Did you remove the power steering pump cap when you did it............otherwise the pressure in the system will not bleed properly as it cant breath for the process
