Show Us Your Beading Shots

Gyeon Cure applied yesterday - seems to be ticking the beading box! Like the way the beads are magnifying the pearl flecks in the paint

All that hard work, just to be rained. Don't know about you but missing those long dry summer months.

Great beading pearls!

Thanks @A4A4 - went into it knowing it was going to slash it down today! Had a good window of free time yesterday which was too good to pass up! It’s the long summer evenings I’m already missing.

That is true, about long dry summer months keeping car dry, but where I live there is a dirt lane, so a nightmare for dust. I welcomed the rain overnight as ceramic coat does its thing and cars look clean

I once cleaned my car with radox bubble bath, had ran out of car shampoo, the car seemed better for it, felt less stressed.

Also oven cleaner is good on wheels caked in brake dust

Some from the weekend after using BSD

She has been driven in the rain since the last wash and has done quite a few miles but she still beads nicely.

My mates RS with ceramic coating. Definitely the way to go on a new car.

New Caramic coatings all give the AERO bubble effect.. . they do look shall l say impressive but leave it out in the sun it'll leave water marks, some can even burn into the paint like it did on the roof of my sportback car, you'll then have to compound the affected panels thus removing the ceramic coating then re - apply definitely a negative with ceramic coatings as they hold far too much moisture on flat panels one of the many reasons l didn't apply one on my car

I was worried about water marks with ceramic, so have a bottle of CarPro Spotless...still unused. Coating has been on since April, and had plenty sunsine and rain since then. :icon thumright: But then the coating I have MaxProtect UNC-R is slightly different according to @FranA3

@jassyo06 - I know sheeting is better but I just love beading TBH but I accept we are all different

Like you say the beads hang onto the water but I find my cars a very hydrophobic as a result
Only problem I find is getting into the car when the roof is heavily beaded. Got soaked quite a few time as has the good lady lol

Being ceramic coated, and with top sacrificial layer or varying product, mine is mega hydrophobic. I drive off and carnis pretty dry within mins

Not mine, my wife’s Golf. Auto Finesse Avalanche snow foam to start, two bucket method using lambs-wool mitt, pat dried with specialist drying cloth, polished with Auto Finesse Tripple then waxed with Auto Finesse Essence...
When A4 finally arrives, it’s getting booked in for a full ceramic detail. So more beading shots to come....

Nice. I’ll get some beading shots of the A4 when it arrives on March 12th. It’ll have had its ceramic coating applied before hand-over so it’ll be good to see how it beads....

Almost a month since the last wash, the car is filthy as it is a daily but it still beads ****** good. The more I use it the more I become a fan of BSD (honest).

State of the car ...
