My GF has an 07' Audi A4 2t, which only has 67k MI. on it. It recently started whining and my mechanic said there was a vacuum leak so he put a PCV valve on it so it's not AS whiny, the intake tube collapses when u Rev it high and when it idles there is a thumping sound that sound like the Jumanji* drum. I HAD to go to work so I jus babied it there and back. On my way home I revved it too high and the biggest cloud of white smoke came out. Any thoughts? New PCV valve.. turbo going out? Any advice is good cuz I'm stumped.. thx

2t I assume means 2 ltr petrol?
Makes sure the oil level is correct.Take out the air filter and check the intake system isn't blocked. Then rev up without the air filter in and filter box open.If all this is clear then check the waste-gate is opening on the turbo, otherwise the turbo may be compressing too much. White smoke is unburnt fuel or oil in the exhaust. Check also for oil in any of the intake pipes or inter-cooler.

Hope this steers you in the right direction

Regards
