Hi Guys, I have been in contact with a local German car specialist garage for a quote on the following

cambelt, water pump v belt? change - £569
full service - £299
haldex service - £180
aircon re gas - £50

Parts are oem and includes labour and VAT, is this a fair price? or is it a bit steep? please let me know what you all think and if you know any good places around the West Sussex area. If not then I don't mind a travel..

Bit steep in my eyes. I was quoted just under £400 for cambelt and waterpump from awesome gti. Can do a service for £100 but then you have labour on top so £199 labour is daft.

Haldex service price is a bit bonkers... I know the parts from TPS are around 50 quid trade but its a 30 minute job on a ramp

I was thinking it does all seem fairly steep... im going to speak to revo, and see what they quote, if not then I might speak with bill at badger5

they are called german auto tech, by j14 on m25.

only went there as I work near the airport

I'd call around other places tbh...

I'm pretty sure Audi's fixed full service rate is like £300!

Sounds like the garage have looked in the work shop manuals on how long the jobs take and are looking to charge you full whack...and then some

im speaking to revo and the are calling me back with a quote, depending on the price they give I will speak to bill and see what he says

Thats very expensive mate....

Cambelt, waterpump and vee belt is about £300
Haldex oil and filter change about £85
Aircon is about right and service will probably be about £150

This is all parts, labour and VAT incl.

Those are more like dealer prices than indy prices! Defo shop around, or even ask what they can do if you have it all done at once?

Where was that quote from?? Revo still quoted me £510 for cambelt etc and £250 for service, £135 for Halsex
