Can someone help me identify a fuse.

I was looking through the FAQ's and I came across this thread which explains a lot of problems on my car.

It suggests changing a fuse but I'm not quite sure which fuse or where.

Any help is massive is appreciated.

It seems to indicate fuse 8 in the engine fuse box. Location is shown in this post.

Thank you, I've just checked and the fuse was blown, I've now changed it.

The engine management light has gone off and the engine doesn't shudder when I turn it off. haven't been for a drive but I imagine it'll be a bit smoother now.

Do you think there might still be a fault that caused the fuse to blow? Should I clean the engine manifold flap anyway?

Not sure about that. Fuses don't usually blow for no reason at all so probably best to investigate the cause before any permanent and more expensive damage takes place. At the moment it's a 10P fuse if you leave it then it could get more expensive.
