Hi All,
So a few months ago I did a lot of research on here regarding fitting a S3/RS3 Rear valance and diffuser to my 2007 Pre - face A3. I was told by a few people if I bought the diffuser and valence I would have no issue so I did so and was told that it was all for the 3 door S3.. Now after having the body shop repair one of the brackets and having it all painted and customized I went to fit it at my friends workshop yesterday..
This is where the problems started firstly we removed the old one from my S-Line bumper offering up the new one we noticed it was about 2 inches longer at either side and none of the bolt holes or brackets lined up ..
We have all got our hands dirty over the years building various projects so did not let the fact it did not fit beat us! So after chopping sanding drilling and more cutting we got it to fit and almost look good!
The problem I have now is I know its not right and in my head that will annoy me, Can anybody shed any light on this? Is it that my bumper is wrong or have I been scammed into thinking this was for a 3 door and it wasn't? .. Pictures below of how it looks now we managed to get it all to fit .. Not perfect I know but we did a ****** good job I think..
I just don't think the curves and lines match which will really annoy me now unless I get it sorted!
