Hey guys. I hope someone has some idea of what I am talking about. Today I took my a3 out for a 80 mile drive and about 40 miles in i started to have power issues.
I first noticed that while sitting in cruise control at 70mph it wasnt smooth at all so I decided to put the foot down. When I did this nothing happened. I dropped a gear and did the same again and the car slowed to 60. The car ran rough and wouldn't go above 65 for the rest of the trip.
There were no warning lights whatsoever and I reached my destination switched off, switched back on and it seems to have rextified the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
