S4 Bose Head Unit

My Bose Head unit is suffering now, and so i want to replace it with something modern from the shops, is this a straight forward job or as always seems with this car are there certain things i need?
It is a 1998 Avant with the Bose Concert unit in it

You will need adapters to fit standard size single din unit and a wiring conversion from bose to ISO plugs.
