Hey guys..

So my car is kind of overdue for a service, I just wanted to know what will I need changing/ servicing?

Images show my last two services, I got the car on just under 96k its currently sitting just above 102k
Car is a 1.9 TDI Sport

Don't judge me, this is my first car that I've had to service, previous car I didn't have it for long

How often will you be getting the car serviced every 10 or 20k ? I do mine every 10k oil , air filter and the 10k (nxt yr) after that I do oil, air, pollen and fuel filter . It's prob over kill but for peace of mind I like to know it's all clean

I do the same, I don't rack up the miles for a long life service so its every 10k or annually. I bought mine recently with sketchy service history, just the book stamped by a couple of main dealers then independant but I've found it difficult to work out what has actually been done on the car as I had no receipts or worksheets from the garages.

For peace of mind, mine has been into a trusted local independandant garage for a major service plus cambelt, waterpump and DSG oil/filter service. Next year will just do engine oil/filter and air filter then the following year all the filters.

By the look of things all services were done every year / 12k so I guess I'll keep doing it like that.

Luckily for me, it's been stamped and shows what has been changed at each service.
I'm the third owner for the car, first owner got it done at audi, second one at an independent garage and now it's my turn, not sure to go to a local garage, halfords or an audi specialist

Audi Specialist

+1 for specialist and never mention halfords again

Thanks and sorry

I messaged a audi specialist, I'm just waiting on his price
Always best to shop about an get prices, when you've got a few from Audi specialists you could always ring Audi and see if they would be willing to beat the price ;)

Never really thought about going to Audi, thought my car is just too old for me to even think about it lol

Audi will price match any quote within a 15 mile radius as long as genuine parts are used.

Just booked mine in at statlers Sheffield, told Audi where to put there service when the quoted me £310 just for an oil service an inspection.. No thanks

If the car is over 3 years old your Audi dealer might offer fixed price. Mine was about 2 weeks under 3 years and they offered it. £310 is the full service, about half that for an interim oil service.

Its their way of trying to keep cars in the dealer system.

If you know which main dealer serviced the car previously they will probably give you a print out of the history they have if you ask nicely.
