Hi, I've recently bought a 2009 A3 S-line with the Bose speakers and standard CD head unit which has an ipod dock/connection in the glove box.
It's quite annoying as I have no real control of the ipod through the head unit and no track information text is displayed either. Only track numbers and CD 6.
Is there an software update or mod which enables the tracklisting and search function through the head unit?
If not, can people recommend a good replacement headunit that will work with the standard ipod dock and AUX and still controllable with the steering wheel volume adjust etc?
