Advanced Key - Accessory position?

With a physical key there is a position where you can run accessories like the radio without starting the engine. How does this work with the Advanced Key and pushbutton start? Please don't tell me to read the Owner's Manual as I don't have one yet ;-)

Press the button without pressing the brake pedal get most things going although the radio etc can be switched on with the knob while ignition is off.

S-tronic - don't press brake pedal, manual - don't press clutch.
