Picked up my Audi A1 1.4 TFSI this weekend with 2900 miles on the clock after trading in my 2009 Ford Fiesta.

As the diagrams in my handbook are all in German this is somewhat tricky to make sense of.

Trip 1 shows 40.5 mpg and Trip 2 shows 43.6 mpg - both were reset at the same time, which do I use or can someone explain the difference between the two readings?

My Fiesta only have one MPG reading - easy as pie!

Cheers,
Adam

Could be completely wrong but I think one is current mpg and the other is average mpg. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along with some input soon.

If its anything like my DS3 ...its just 2 memory banks you can save to. So no2 could have your total milage + MPG ....and no1 would be your current journey.

No actual idea tho as never driven one lol

Trip 1 is the current journey stats and these are kept for something like 2-3 hours after you park up. Longer than that then they reset for a new trip.
Trip 2 is the accumulated long term stats and these can be over thousands of miles of driving.

Karl.
