S3 tyre size?

i currently have 225/40 18 all round on my s3, would i be able to fit two 235/40 18s to the rear or would this cause issues with the Quattro system?

Assuming you have factory wheels, they are 7.5J in width, will a 235 tyre fit on them?

If the answer is yes, I would change to 235 all round to maintain equal grip at each tyre and prevent any problems with Quattro.

I've always kept tyre sizes the same on 4wd cars. Mismatching is a no no

Aye that's what I thought, a friend has two brand new michelins ps3s going extremely cheap in that size, shame!
