Tow bar..?

Looking on eBay for a tow bar,
A few say saloon and estate while others state 1 or the other,
So am I right in thinking it's the same tow bar for both ..??

yeh its probably the same part, the rear floorpan of the two cars are very similar if not identical.

Sorry to be so Ignorant, whats a PFL? in a nutshell, I have an A6 and was wondering if it would fit mine lol

pfl = pre face lift
fl = face lift

A6 tow bar wont fit an A4
