Video through AMI help please

Hi,

I have just got a 58 plate A8 and it has MMI 2G high. It has factory fitted Freeview TV, Sat Nav, BOSE, DAB radio and AMI.

I have a usb and blue connector ipod cables for the AMI.

Is there any way i can get to watch videos?

I can play the video files through usb but i am only getting the audio.

Any help would be great

2G AMI will not play video files, only way to play video files on MMI 2G is via the AV Inputs on the TV tuner.

Do you know if there is a guide on how to get it to work through the tv tuner?

You need one of these cables http://www.kufatec.co.uk/shop/en/audi/a8/a8-4e/video-in-harness-audi-mmi once fitted to the plug of the TV tuner, it's just the case of selected the AV input in the MMI source menu, and pressing play on your device.
