Cool adventureIt depends what the car is & where it was for sale ( dealer or private )
I enquired about my Lotus Esprit S4s that was for sale at a dealers in Exeter ( I live near Middlesbrough in the North East ) They sent loads of pictures first but rather than drive I flew down as it was quicker & cheaper, the dealer picked me up from the airport. There were a few issues with the car that the pictures couldn't show & the dealer failed to mention so I was haggling over the price to the point I was ready to walk away, the only problem with this was I had no plan B ! The next flight home was the day after so it would have been over-night stop in a travel lodge or hire a car, something I was prepared to do but eventually we came to an agreement on price so I paid for the car & drove her home ( which was fun travelling up in rush hour traffic on a Friday ) 5 hour journey took 7 hours ! all part of the adventure though & at least I had a nice car to drive the trip home in
for a set of rims ?580 miles to Hamburg to purchase a limited edition alloy rims I won on eBay.
YES..............,for a set of rims ?

it was a limited edition light weight ABT rims (manufactured by OZ) from a VW dealer (BRAND NEW) covered in brand new continental sport tyres.
when I stuck them on the car the results were priceless.
