quick advice needed.....coilpacks

My car (2004 fsi) is booked in to get the coils done as i found out mine were recalled. Ive had problems with the coils for a while so replace the originals. It was my uncle who spoke to the service manager at my local audi and he said it wudnt matter that i didnt have the originals in!! Does anyone know if this is true. Not that im calling the uncle a liar but i dont want to turn up tomorrow and look like an idiot

if you already have the revised packs in they wont change them

I took a A4 up just before xmas they only swapped 2 as the others were the revised part.

but your local audi dealer maybe different.

The ones i replaced them with wernt genuine audi just from my local europarts. The originals are in the box in the footwell.

well pop the oem back in and sort it that way
