alloy map sensor pipe

hi guys
im still using my plastic map sensor pipe and it caught my attention the other day as its so small.
along with a fb convo i saw mentioning that the owner should change it who coincedently has the same spec car that i will end up with.

k04 hybrid with all hardware!!
should i be looking into losing the oem and how have people made the straight pipe fit??

i dont want to turn up for my mapping with any restrictions!!

It is a restriction but won't stop you from mapping, i ran the standard one when i got over 500 but get it changed to aid flow. I've changed mine now and should of do it a long time ago..

It does fit, you may have to do a bit of trimming to the tray, you might need some more hose to fit also?

have you got the 110mm or 240mm long version?

I bought a alloy elbow (k03s car) and welded a eBay map sensor boss in to place, done the job well enough!

I got the long one then cut it down to size and added some beads to it.
