Im am looking to remap my a3 quattro very soon but after looking on some sites I'm a bit confused whether i need to get the dsg box flashed as well so the gearbox computer can 'use' the extra torque? From what ive seen the factory box has a software limit of 280ft-lb and the map that i am looking at is over that? What do i do will the clutch disengage?
Do I need a dsg remap??

Plenty of torque from that. I think the dsg box is the same in all VAG models anyway not 100% sure though
