Instrument cluster problems

Hi , I'm new to this site and also to owning an A3 and I'm having issues with the centre bit of my instrument cluster but they're different problems to all the others I've seen online so far -
The centre bit shows me when I'm low on fuel or when a door is open but that is all ?
I'm assuming it's meant to do more but I have no idea at all

Please can somebody help ?

Can you take a picture of it please. That way people know which DIS you have and can explain what it should and should not do.

looks like the most basic version to me. Youl need a new cluster if u want more features

Yes, the above panel is for a diesel engined car.

The one I've got is for a diesel. Needs the front screen swapping with yours as mines cracked (very easy to do)
